FFL Transfers

How it works:

1. Once you purchase a gun (or other FFL item) from another seller, you will need to provide your info to the seller as well as provide them with our FFL information. (NOTE: Some sellers may already have our FFL information on file, but if not you can find our information clicking here).
2. The seller will then ship your item to TomKat Tactical LLC, along with the shipment the seller will include your contact information, as well as theirs for our records.
3. Please email us your information regarding the transfer in case the seller doesn’t include your contact information when shipping, this way we know how to reach you once your item arrives.
4. Once received, TomKat Tactical LLC. will check the item into our system.
5. Once your item is checked into our system one of our team members will reach out to you and schedule a convenient time for you to come do the required paperwork & background check. NOTE: A TomKat Tactical LLC team member will use the provided information to notify you that your item has been received, we will leave one voicemail and/or message, after that it is not the responsibility of TomKat Tactical LLC. to reach you.
6. You will arrive at TomKat Tactical LLC at the scheduled time, pay the required transfer fee(s), and fill out the ATF Form 4473 along with any other required paperwork.
7. TomKat Tactical LLC. will submit your background check information and wait for approval from the appropriate agency (in most cases this goes quick, but sometimes there can be a delay if the agency needs more time to process your background check.
8. Once approved the item is yours to take home.

Transfer Policies:

• You must be 18 years of age to purchase/transfer a shot gun or rifle, and you must be 21 years of age to purchase/transfer a pistol or any other firearm (including stripped or completed lowers).
• If we receive a firearm on your behalf and you are unable to take possession of the firearm for any reason, including but not limited to, denial by the Wisconsin Department of Justice or your admission on the Federal Form 4473 or the State of Wisconsin Handgun Form, you are responsible for the transfer fee and any shipping charges incurred to ship the firearm back to the originating dealer. If shipping arrangements are not made within thirty (30) days, the firearm becomes the property of TomKat Tactical LLC.
• The FFL Transfer Fee is NOT refundable, even if your background check is denied.
• TomKat Tactical LLC. cannot be held liable for the condition of the firearm upon arrival.
• Any warranties implied or expressed are solely between you and the originating dealer.
• TomKat Tactical LLC. reserves the right to cancel any FFL transfer transactions at any time for any reason.
